The Job

• Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in cybersecurity, computer networking, and multimedia technologies.
• Develop, review, and update module content to align with academic standards and current industry trends.
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and feedback to support student learning and academic progression.
• Supervise student projects, practical assignments, and final-year capstones.
• Maintain and manage laboratory resources, equipment, and software relevant to cybersecurity, networking, and multimedia.
• Provide academic guidance, mentorship, and support to students.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives, programme development, and quality assurance activities.

The Person

• A Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Networking, Multimedia, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, CEH, Security+, Network+, or Adobe Suite will be an added advantage.
• Strong subject knowledge across cybersecurity fundamentals, networking technologies, and multimedia tools/software.
• Excellent teaching, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Experience in delivering practical labs or hands-on training environments.
• A student-centred approach with a passion for teaching and continuous professional development.
• Awareness of industry practices and emerging technologies in cybersecurity, networking, and multimedia.
