For this role Mechanic, the individual is expected to maintain and repair vehicles. The individual is also, responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality.

Key Accountabilities:

• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately .
• Inspect vehicle computer and electronics systems to repair, maintain and upgrade.
• Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
• Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use.
• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g leaks).
• Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for repair or maintenance job.
• Keep logs on work and issues.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
• Ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards before operating.
• Must assist with other tasks required of by the manager.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

• Trade certificates/Diploma from a recognized institution, vocational training or associate degree is preferrably.
• Proven experience as auto mechanic.
• Proficiency with diagnostic software and mechanical tools.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow safety standards.
• Ability to lift heavy parts, work in various positions, and handle greasy components.
• Able to work shift and extra hours if required by the Superviors.
• Candidate must have Valid Drivers License.
• Pom-based appicant and willing to start immediately.
