The Job
- Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Hospitality and Travel & Tourism, ensuring strong academic engagement and industry relevance.
- Develop, update, and maintain module content, teaching materials, and assessments aligned with current sector trends and academic standards.
- Guide and support students through academic advising, project supervision, and career-focused mentorship.
- Participate in departmental activities including curriculum development, accreditation processes, quality assurance, and programme reviews.
- Contribute to research, scholarly activities, industry partnerships, and institutional events that enhance the profile of the department and the institution.
The Person
- Master’s degree in a relevant business subject (Hospitality, Tourism, Travel Management, or related field).
- Strong capability and subject expertise to teach Hospitality and Travel & Tourism at undergraduate level.
- Prior experience in lecturing or facilitating learning in a higher education or vocational training environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse learners.
- A proactive, student-centred educator with strong organisational skills, a collaborative attitude, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
