Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Investigation & Recovery Officer to handle customer follow-ups, investigate pending cases, and recover outstanding information or dues. The candidate will engage with customers via phone and ensure accurate case handling while maintaining professional communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to customers regarding pending investigations or recovery matters.
- Gather and verify information related to disputed transactions/accounts.
- Maintain detailed and accurate case documentation in the system.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer concerns efficiently.
- Follow compliance and company policies throughout the process.
- Achieve assigned performance targets in productivity and case closure rate.
- Maintain a professional and courteous approach in all customer interactions.
- Escalate complex cases to relevant departments when required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication skills in English and Sinhala/Tamil (as required).
- Good listening, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
- Ability to stay calm and handle sensitive situations professionally.
- Prior experience in call center, customer service, collections, or finance is an added advantage.
- Willingness to work in shifts if needed.
