Job Description:

Key Responsibility Areas:

• To bring in the relevant assortment

• Engage with vendors to improve the business of category

• Manage partners including sellers and brands

• Grow category through the available levers

• Constant market scanning of competitive assortments & pricing to identify gaps, threat’s and opportunities and taking corrective actions in conjunction with buying, marketing and operations teams

• Managing the process for all inventory returns and their liquidation in line with defined SOPs.

Skill Set:

• An understanding of offline retail and passion for learning

• Smart, enthusiastic, hard-working, and creative

• Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines

• Proven negotiation skills, influencing abilities

• Have proven data analysis skills

• Strong numerical and analytical aptitude

• Overall understanding of business and good business acumen

• Proven experience leading cross-functional projects

• Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment

• Ability to analyze market trends and act accordingly

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Monitoring sales and inventory levels to minimise lost opportunities

• Bring relevant insights in marketing and merchandising.

• Maintain strong relationship with principal brands for margin, instocking & offers competitiveness

• Forging strategic tie-ups with principals which bring short term gain and long term benefits for our ecosystem

Education & Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree mandatory

• Master's degree is preferred

• Experience in Consumer-facing sectors such as (Pharma Retail / FMCG is Mandatory)

• Experience in Business, category management

Additional Information:

• This is 6 days work from office role • Candidate should be open to travel within the region

Required Qualification: Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) - Highly Preferred
