Role Overview
We’re looking for a Junior Partnerships Executive to work closely with the Head of Partnerships and own the execution of Metana’s partnership initiatives end-to-end.
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Thinks strategically but enjoys executing
- Is commercially curious, great at communication and loves building corporate relationships
- Wants exposure to high-level partnership strategy while running day-to-day execution
- Is comfortable taking ownership and learning fast
- Gets excited about growing a business vertical, doing lots of research and co-owning the B2B & B2G funnels of the business in the US, UK, Europe & APAC
You’ll be involved in building, executing, and scaling partnerships across education, hiring, tech ecosystems, and communities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partnership Execution & Operations
- Support the end-to-end execution of partnership initiatives once aligned at a strategic level
- Manage outreach, follow-ups, coordination, and execution of partnership activities
- Maintain and track partnership pipelines, status, and outcomes
2. Partner Research & Identification
- Research potential partners across:
- Universities and institutions
- Hiring companies and employers
- Web3, AI, Cybersecurity ecosystems
- Communities, platforms, and NGOs
- Government bodies & education ministry attachés (US, UK, Europe & APAC)
- Prepare concise partner briefs and recommendations
3. Relationship Management
- Act as a key point of contact for active partners
- Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and deliverables
- Ensure commitments from both sides are met on time
4. Internal Coordination
- Work closely with:
- Marketing (co-marketing, announcements, launches)
- Product & curriculum teams (custom pathways, exemptions)
- Student success team (hiring pipelines, placement initiatives)
- Operations (contracts, timelines, execution)
- Translate partnership ideas into actionable internal tasks
5. Documentation & Tracking
- Maintain clear documentation of:
- Partnership agreements
- Deliverables
- Performance metrics
- Track impact such as:
- Leads generated
- Enrollments influenced
- Hiring outcomes
- Market expansion
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have
- 1–3 years of experience in partnerships, business development, marketing, operations, or a similar role
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- High ownership mindset — you don’t wait to be told what to do
- Ability to think commercially and understand value exchange
- Strong organization and follow-through
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to startups, tech, education, Web3, or digital ecosystems
- Experience working with external stakeholders or partners
- Basic understanding of revenue models, funnels, or growth metrics
- Experience with CRM tools, Notion, spreadsheets, or pipeline tracking tools
