Emerald, Sri Lanka’s No. 1 Menswear Brand with over 70 years of excellence, is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Junior Merchandiser to strengthen our organization.

Support the merchandising team in coordinating orders, sample development, production follow-ups, and buyer communication to ensure timely and quality delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in order handling from order confirmation to shipment
• Coordinate with production, sourcing, planning, and quality teams
• Follow up on samples, approvals, and trims
• Update and maintain order status reports
• Support costing sheets and basic T&A (Time & Action) plans
• Track fabric and accessory status with suppliers
• Assist in buyer communication (emails, updates) under supervision
• Ensure delivery timelines are met
• Maintain proper documentation (POs, tech packs, approvals)

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma / Certificate in Merchandising / Apparel Management
• A/L completed (degree is an added advantage)
• Freshers or 1–2 years’ experience in merchandising
• Knowledge of garment production process is preferred
• Good communication skills (English required)
• Basic knowledge of Excel & email coordination
• Strong follow-up and coordination skills
• Willingness to learn and work under deadlines
• Team player with a positive attitude
