We are in a rapid growth phase and are expanding our sales team to scale demo capacity and close mid-market customers.
Role Overview
We are looking for a driven Account Executive to own product demos and sales conversations for companies with <100 employees.
This role is critical to scaling revenue. You will run high-quality demos, manage mid-market opportunities, and convert qualified leads into paying customers. Leads will be provided by the SDR team ,your focus is demo excellence, deal progression, and closing.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Demos
- Conduct live product demos for SMB companies (<100 employees).
- Understand customer pain points and tailor demos to payroll, compliance, and HR needs.
- Clearly articulate Rooster’s value proposition and ROI to decision-makers.
- Handle objections and guide prospects through the buying process.
Deal Management
- Own the sales cycle from demo to close for assigned accounts.
- Coordinate with SDRs, closers, and onboarding teams to ensure smooth handovers.
- Maintain accurate deal notes, pipeline updates, and forecasts in the CRM.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the SDR team to improve demo readiness and lead quality.
- Provide feedback to marketing and product teams based on customer conversations.
- Support onboarding handoff post-sale to ensure customer success.
Success Metrics (KPIs)
- Number of demos conducted per week.
- Demo → close conversion rate.
- MRR closed per month.
- Sales cycle duration for SMB accounts.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, SaaS sales, or account executive roles.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable running demos for HR, finance, and operations stakeholders.
- Ability to understand and sell value-based solutions (not just features).
- Organized, disciplined, and target-driven.
- Experience with payroll, HR software, or B2B SaaS is a plus (not mandatory).
