Senior Marketing & Brand Manager - Contract (06 Months)

Role Purpose

The Senior Marketing & Brand Manager owns end-to-end brand performance and growth outcomes for assigned key accounts. This role is accountable for revenue impact, lead quality, conversion effectiveness, and brand credibility.

Acting as the central integrator between strategy, execution, internal specialist teams, and client-side sales leadership, this role ensures all marketing activity is commercially aligned and outcome-driven.

This is a senior ownership role, not a coordination, execution, or relationship-only position.

Key Accountability Areas

Strategic Brand & Growth Ownership

• Own overall brand, marketing, and growth strategy for assigned accounts

• Translate commercial objectives into actionable, measurable marketing plans

• Ensure positioning, messaging, and channel mix support premium brand intent

• Maintain accountability for lead quality, admissions, and revenue contribution

Performance Marketing Oversight

• Provide strategic oversight across paid channels, including Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and retargeting funnels

• Analyse performance dashboards to identify risks, trends, and optimisation opportunities

• Guide PPC specialists on budget allocation, testing priorities, and scaling decisions

• Ensure spend control, phasing, and ROI validation

(Hands-on buying is not required, but strong paid media literacy is essential.)

Funnel, Conversion & Sales Alignment

• Own the marketing-to-sales feedback loop

• Work closely with client sales teams to assess lead quality, objections, response times, and conversion gaps

• Use sales insights to refine messaging, targeting, and funnel structure

• Clearly distinguish between marketing issues and sales execution issues and communicate this confidently

Content, Creative & Brand Governance

• Define content pillars and persona-led messaging frameworks

• Review and approve creative across paid ads, social media, video, TikTok, and offline materials

• Ensure outputs reflect premium positioning, credibility, and outcome-led messaging

• Provide structured briefs to design, content, and production teams

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Management

• Lead and align internal teams across PPC, Social Media, SEO, Design, Video/TikTok, Offline Activations, and PR

• Run weekly internal alignment and planning sessions

• Manage timelines, dependencies, and delivery standards

• Identify risks early and resolve misalignment proactively

Client Leadership & Launch Ownership

• Act as the senior point of contact for assigned clients

• Lead structured client meetings with insights, decisions, and next steps

• Communicate performance transparently and commercially

• Manage expectations and protect scope

Launch Responsibility

• Own launch orchestration across paid media, PR, influencers, content, and offline activations

• Ensure message consistency, market credibility, and controlled execution

• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders for high-quality market entry

Reporting, Insights & Decision Support

• Own monthly performance reporting and insights

• Translate marketing metrics into business outcomes (leads → conversions → revenue)

• Support leadership with forecasts, scenario planning, and optimisation recommendations

• Maintain clear documentation of decisions and learnings

Required Skills & Competencies

Strategic & Commercial Acumen

• Strong understanding of revenue-driven marketing

• Ability to reverse-calculate targets and evaluate ROI

• Comfortable with budgets, CPL, conversion rates, and blended ticket values

Paid Media & Channel Literacy

• Strong conceptual understanding of Google, Meta, and TikTok ecosystems

• Ability to challenge specialists using data and commercial logic

Brand & Content Judgment

• Strong eye for quality and consistency

• Clear distinction between awareness, proof, and conversion content

• Confident creative decision-making based on strategy

Sales & Conversion Understanding

• Comfortable working alongside sales and counselling teams

• Ability to identify funnel breakdowns and respond decisively

• Proven ability to manage multiple teams and priorities

• Calm, structured, and accountable under pressure

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in marketing, brand management, growth, or senior account leadership

• Experience in performance-led environments such as agency, education, property, healthcare, or services

• Proven exposure to paid media and sales-aligned growth models

• Experience managing complex or high-value client accounts preferred
