Waiters

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guest and hand out menus.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests and place these orders in the kitchen.
• Make menu recommendations and inform patrons of any specials.
• Deliver meals and beverages to tables when they have been prepared.
• Check that customers are satisfied with their meal.
• Prepare the bill for tables when requested.
• Cash up bills and ensure that the correct amount has been paid.
• Administer change to tables if needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months experience required.
• Ability of serving alcohol is mandatory.
• Flexible work hours with positive attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and professional with difficult customers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability of any other foreign language is an added advantage.
• Team Player.
• Able to handle or operate a point-of-sale system.
• Candidates’ residing in Downsouth (Ahangama, Weligama, Mirissa or Matara) carries an added advantage.
