Waiters
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guest and hand out menus.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests and place these orders in the kitchen.
- Make menu recommendations and inform patrons of any specials.
- Deliver meals and beverages to tables when they have been prepared.
- Check that customers are satisfied with their meal.
- Prepare the bill for tables when requested.
- Cash up bills and ensure that the correct amount has been paid.
- Administer change to tables if needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months experience required.
- Ability of serving alcohol is mandatory.
- Flexible work hours with positive attitude.
- Ability to remain calm and professional with difficult customers.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability of any other foreign language is an added advantage.
- Team Player.
- Able to handle or operate a point-of-sale system.
- Candidates’ residing in Downsouth (Ahangama, Weligama, Mirissa or Matara) carries an added advantage.
