Job Role:
The Lead MEP Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems that meet technical, safety, and regulatory standards while supporting architectural and structural designs.
In this early and development stage, the person will be closely working with the General Manager, and acts as the Engineer-in-Charge for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with Indonesian HVAC, electrical, and plumbing codes and regulations, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders from concept, design development, to construction documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review mechanical, electrical, and plumbing layouts, calculations, and technical specifications ensuring efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate MEP systems with architectural and structural designs, resolving clashes and technical conflicts
- Support integrated project delivery and multidisciplinary coordination
- Prepare documentation for authority submissions and review shop drawings
- Provide site support during construction, testing, commissioning, and handover
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of MEP engineering experience, including roles as Engineer-in-Charge, preferably in consultancy or regulated/industrial projects
- Expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing & drainage, with strong MEP coordination and system integration skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with MEP calculation software preferred; professional-level English for technical communication
- Structured, solution-oriented, detail-focused, and compliance-driven with strong coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams
