The Role
As a CRM, you are the engine of our revenue growth. You will manage the full sales lifecycle: from hunting for leads and diagnosing business pain points to conducting technical demos and closing deals. Unlike traditional sales roles, you will also act as a Solution Architect, ensuring the tech stack we sell fits the client's unique needs, and guiding them through a successful onboarding.
Primary Responsibilities (60% of time)
- Proactively identify and qualify potential clients via cold calling, social selling, and email outreach.
- Conduct high-impact product demos (onsite or online). You aren't just showing features; you are solving problems by mapping our Cloud POS and hardware capabilities to the client’s specific operational gaps.
- Drive the sales process to a close within approved pricing frameworks, ensuring a win-win for the client and the company.
- Systematically transform successful closures into new opportunities by soliciting high-quality referrals from your satisfied client base.
- Partner with the Development Team post-sale to ensure the client is successfully set up and trained, maintaining a high standard of customer success.
Secondary Responsibilities (40% of time)
- Conduct secondary research on industry trends and competitor movements to keep our positioning sharp.
- Maintain 100% accuracy in the CRM by logging every call, update, and task to ensure no lead falls through the cracks.
- Submit daily performance reports to the Line Manager within the established framework.
- Participate in training sessions and product reviews to stay ahead of the curve in SaaS and POS hardware.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Your success will be measured by the following metrics:
- Activity Volume: Minimum of 50 outbound touches per day.
- Conversion Rate: Maintain a minimum of 30% from qualified leads to demos done.
- Sales Target: Achieving monthly and quarterly revenue quotas for Cloud POS and hardware sales.
- Pipeline Accuracy: Maintaining an up-to-date CRM with clear next steps for every prospect.
- Referral Rate: Generating a minimum of 10 new leads per month through existing client referrals.
Requirements & Skills
- Ability to listen to a business owner's problems and instantly visualize how our software/hardware solves them.
- High energy for cold outreach and the persistence to follow up until a deal is closed.
- Quick to learn the ins and outs of Cloud software and hardware peripherals.
- Fluent in articulating value propositions; comfortable presenting to business owners and stakeholders.
- 2+ years in a target-driven sales environment (SaaS or Fintech experience is a major plus).
