Front Office Executive

Job Purpose

The Front Office Executive is responsible for managing the department while delivering a smooth and welcoming guest experience from arrival to departure. This role manages the total front office operation from check-in and check-out processes, guest inquiries, billing accuracy, and coordination with other departments to ensure high service standards and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding the gravity of a smooth operation of the Front Office Department
  • Plan and Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure correct room allocation, billing, postings, and documentation in the PMS
  • Respond professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints
  • Coordinate closely with Housekeeping to ensure room readiness
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and follow internal control procedures
  • Maintain Front Office SOPs, service standards, and brand guidelines
  • Manging other team members and rostering
  • Support upselling initiatives for rooms and services

Requirements

  • Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Previous experience in Front Office or Guest Services preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with hotel PMS systems
  • Good grooming standards and professional appearance
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
