About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end import operations while ensuring full compliance with international and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Sound knowledge of logistics processes and international import regulations
• Previous experience handling DG (Dangerous Goods) cargo and NMRA-regulated products will be an added advantage
• CHA license holders are preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end import documentation and related processes
• Liaise with clearing agents and customs officials to ensure smooth and timely clearance of shipments
• Ensure all import activities comply with relevant local and international regulations
• Follow up on purchase orders with international vendors to ensure timely shipment and delivery
