OnCoor Pvt Ltd, based in Sri Lanka, serves as a fully owned subsidiary of OnCoor Inc. As we continue to expand our global footprint, we are looking for passionate and skilled interns to join our growing team.

Position Overview We are seeking highly motivated Data Analyst Interns and Junior Data Analysts to join our core data and analytics team.

This role offers hands-on experience working with enterprise data pipelines, metadata-driven mapping, and validation workflows within the OnCoor platform. Intern-level candidates will receive close mentoring and training, while junior-level candidates will independently contribute to small data projects.

Key Responsibilities

For Data Analyst Interns

· Support data profiling, mapping, and validation within the OnCoor platform under supervision.

· Assist in maintaining logs and monitoring data integrity.

· Learn metadata-driven data profiling and validation concepts.

· Shadow senior analysts and follow documented data management standards.

· Gain exposure to basic data preparation and validation for AI/ML workflows.

· Report progress regularly to the mentor or lead analyst.

For Junior Data Analysts

· Assist with data mapping, profiling, and documentation; ensure accuracy and validation using OnCoor tools.

· Take ownership of small data modules or mapping sets and ensure validation consistency.

· Explore automation opportunities for repetitive data quality tasks.

· Collaborate with developers and QA teams to align data requirements and standards.

· Prepare validated datasets for analytics or machine-learning testing.

· Manage own deliverables and communicate blockers promptly.

Qualifications

• Data Analyst Intern: Entry-level / Student / Internship (0–1 year experience)
• Junior Data Analyst: 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, ETL, or data mapping support
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with SQL and database concepts.
• Curiosity about data quality, modeling, and enterprise integration.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Engagement Details

• Duration: 1-Year Internship or Early-Career Position (structured in quarterly evaluations).
• Work Arrangement: On-site, Nawala, Sri Lanka.
• Compensation: Competitive stipend or salary (paid in LKR).
