About the role

Prosper Global Education is building a daily video content engine, one topic shot every day, cut into long-form and short-form pieces, distributed across every major platform. We're looking for a video editor who can take raw footage and turn it into content that actually stops the scroll.

This isn't a one-off project. It's a daily pipeline. If you want a role where you touch new footage every day and see your work go live constantly, this is it.

What you'll actually do

• Take daily long-form footage and cut it into a polished long-form video, plus 5-10 short-form pieces (Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style cuts) from the same shoot
• Add clean, accurate captions to every piece
• Edit for retention: pacing, cuts, text overlays, and hooks that keep people watching
• Keep every piece aligned with our brand look and tone, consistent across platforms
• Work directly from a daily shoot schedule, turning footage around fast

What we're looking for

A genuine eye for pacing and style, more than a long resume. We'd rather hire someone with a smaller portfolio and sharp instincts than someone with years of experience but flat, generic output.

Familiarity with Western social content standards. We want an editor who's spent real time studying how top international creators and brands edit for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, the pacing, the caption style, the hook structure, the visual polish, rather than a purely local editing style. If you can point to specific creators or brands whose editing you study, we want to hear about it.

Comfortable with AI-assisted editing tools. We want someone who uses AI to move faster, auto-captioning, auto-reframing for vertical formats, AI-assisted cuts, not someone doing everything manually when a faster tool exists.

Proficiency in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or a comparable professional tool. Tool doesn't matter as much as output. If you have a different tool you swear by and can prove it, we're open.

Not looking for complex, heavily stylized editing. This is clean, professional, brand-consistent editing done well and done fast, not motion-graphics-heavy production. If you can nail that daily, at volume, without it ever feeling repetitive or lazy, that's the job.

Experience is a plus, not a requirement. If you've got some background in video editing and a portfolio that shows genuine skill, we want to talk. What matters most is the eye, the instinct for what works, and the willingness to learn and improve fast inside a real, live, daily pipeline.
