Test Lead (Quality Engineering)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and oversee all testing activities from initiation to delivery.
• Participate and lead status calls, Scrum meetings, and client discussions.
• Prepare and share DSRs & WSRs with stakeholders.
• Develop, implement, and maintain strong testing strategies and processes.
• Create test plans, estimates, strategies, requirements analysis, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Execute test cases, log defects using tracking tools, and ensure closure through the STLC process.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (JIRA, ALM).
• Working knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Playwright).
• Strong API testing experience (Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI).
• Monitor and report on SLAs to ensure performance and availability standards.
• Contribute as both an individual contributor and a team leader.
• Manage resources for on-time product delivery.
• Identify and mitigate risks during all phases of testing.
• Coordinate with junior team members when required.
• Meet performance metrics in client service, quality, risk management, and solution development.

Skills & Qualifications

• 5–9 years of experience in Quality Engineering.
• Experience in non-financial domains: Consumer Retail, Healthcare, Telecom, Media, Oil & Gas, Utilities, Manufacturing, etc.
• Strong communication and articulation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong technical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Passion for technology and continuous improvement.
