Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct field tests and studies to collect data, videos, and documentation related to machine operations. Obtain accurate information regarding machine performance, cost efficiency, durability, and utility requirements.
2. Take responsibility for coordinating and managing product development activities. Oversee technical services related to product design, prototype trials, testing, improvements, and mass production. Provide guidance to component designers to ensure R&D activities are executed according to schedule.
3. Lead and manage the overall product design process. Develop comprehensive product plans and organize the preparation of all required documentation for product validation, production, and sales. Ensure completion of drawings, technical production documents, and sales-related materials for assigned models.
4. Drive product quality improvements by analyzing internal and external feedback. Implement design enhancements, monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions, and update relevant technical documentation accordingly.
5. Maintain strong customer orientation by: Translating customer requirements into General Arrangement (GA) designs and detailed product specifications. Selecting appropriate key components aligned with product specifications. Conducting site surveys to ensure proposed solutions are accurate, optimal, and suitable for field conditions. Preparing optimum fleet calculations and delivering product specification presentations to customers and dealers.
6. Collaborate with external institutions (academia, customers/users, dealers, head office, and industry partners) to support and stimulate engineering research and development initiatives.

Qualifications

1. Maximum age of 30 years old.
2. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Design & Manufacturing or a related field.
3. Minimum 3 years of experience in complete machine design within the construction machinery or related industrial sectors.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Familiar with ISO/GB/LG standards and relevant national regulations related to technology, quality, measurement, and environmental compliance in construction machinery or automotive industries.
6. Strong understanding of overall machine layout, performance parameters, key technologies, configuration matching, and component selection in construction machinery products.
7. Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor developments.
8. English proficiency (spoken and written) is preferred; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage.
9. Proficient in product design software such as CAD and Pro/E, as well as standard Microsoft Office applications.
