🔎 AVAILABLE POSITION - CLINICAL GOVERNANCE MANAGER
The Clinical Governance Manager is responsible for overseeing and strengthening the organization’s clinical governance systems to ensure the delivery of safe, high‑quality, and compliant clinical services. This position leads quality, safety, compliance, clinical risk management, and continuous improvement across all wellness clinics. The role ensures adherence to national standards, supports clinicians through training and supervision, and drives clinical excellence through structured governance processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Medicine, Allied Health, Public Health, or another clinical discipline.
Postgraduate qualification in Health Management, Quality Management, Clinical Governance, Patient Safety, or Risk Management (preferred).
Current registration with the relevant health regulatory authority.
Additional training in clinical audit, quality improvement methodologies, accreditation standards, or root‑cause analysis is an advantage.
Skills
Strong understanding of clinical governance frameworks, patient safety systems, and national healthcare standards.
Demonstrated ability to lead quality improvement activities, develop policies, and oversee compliance programs across multiple clinics.
Skilled in clinical risk management, incident reporting systems, investigations, and development of corrective action plans.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret clinical data, identify trends, and drive improvement strategies.
Strong leadership and coaching ability to support clinicians through training, supervision, and performance standards.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with clinical teams, executives, and external regulators.
High-level organisational and project management skills to coordinate audits, safety programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Proficiency in documentation, governance reporting, and development of clinical guidelines.
Ability to maintain high ethical standards, confidentiality, and sound clinical judgment.
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in clinical governance, patient safety, healthcare quality management, or clinical leadership.
Demonstrated experience implementing or overseeing governance systems, quality frameworks, or accreditation processes.
Experience in conducting clinical audits, incident investigations, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
Proven track record in improving clinical safety outcomes or leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience providing training, mentorship, or supervision to clinicians or multidisciplinary teams.
Background in a clinic, hospital, or multi-site healthcare setting is highly desirable.
