Reporting to the Tender Manager, as the person responsible for Tender Sales & Business Development, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across the Health Sector in PNG and the Pacific Region by leveraging clinical pharmaceutical knowledge and strong customer relationship skills. This role combines professional pharmacy expertise with strategic sales activities to expand product research, strengthen client engagement, and support commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive growth in tender markets- by identifying and pursuing new procurement opportunities with the Papua New Guinea Department of Health, and other health ministries, donor agencies and government bodies across the Pacific Region.
  • Strengthen Bid Submissions- by ensuring tender proposals are based on high-quality product information,clinical evidence,regulatory compliance, and competitive value positioning.
  • Develop strong tender strategies-including product selection,pricing recommendations,and analysis of historical awards or competitor activity to increase win rates.
  • Build Maintain Relationships with key decision makers in government health procurement, regional health programs and institutional buyers to support long term tender success.
  • Achieve and exceed tender - related sales quarterly targets, supporting organisational growth.
  • Supplier coordination - help in coordinating with pharmaceutical suppliers for tender related activities.
  • Project Management - manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.

General Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, business or a related field.
  • proven experience in sales.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven attitude and willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
