Colombo, Sri LankaLKR 300,000 - 450,000/monthWe are looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager – Immunology to drive the sales and market expansion of immunology-related diagnostic instruments. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, a proven sales background in medical or diagnostic equipment, and the ability to build long-term relationships with healthcare professionals and laboratories.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the company’s presence in the immunology diagnostics market.
- Identify and approach new clients including hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, and healthcare institutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key stakeholders.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for laboratory professionals and clinicians.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender documentation.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities within the diagnostic sector.
- Coordinate with technical and service teams to ensure smooth installation and after-sales support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) or a related life science field.
- Prior laboratory experience or experience in selling immunology/diagnostic instruments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic laboratory operations and immunology testing solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong sales, business development, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
