One of our reputed clients in Oman is seeking skilled Technicians – Picking & Passivation for their Pipe & Outfitting Department, to support surface treatment, cleaning, and corrosion prevention of piping systems and components.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform mechanical and chemical surface treatment (picking and passivation) on stainless steel and alloy piping systems as per specifications.
• Assist engineers and supervisors in cleaning, preparation, and inspection of piping components.
• Inspect surfaces to ensure proper removal of contaminants, rust, and oxide layers.
• Apply passivation treatments to protect piping systems against corrosion and enhance durability.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.
• Follow all safety protocols, chemical handling guidelines, and company procedures during operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in stainless steel or alloy surface treatment, picking, or passivation.
• Knowledge of chemical treatments, corrosion prevention, and surface finishing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and treatment procedures.
• Attention to detail and precision in surface treatment and inspection tasks.
• Physically fit and able to work in industrial environments.
