One of our reputed clients in Oman is seeking experienced Supervisors – Heavy Lifting & Rigging for their Production Support Department, to oversee lifting, hoisting, and rigging operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality handling of materials and equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise lifting, hoisting, and rigging operations in accordance with project specifications and safety procedures.
• Allocate tasks to rigging teams and crane operators, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Monitor lifting operations to prevent accidents, equipment damage, and operational delays.
• Inspect lifting equipment, slings, shackles, cranes, and hoists to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of lifting tools, equipment, and accessories.
• Troubleshoot issues during lifting operations and coordinate timely corrective actions.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and enforce health, safety, and operational standards within the team.
• Maintain daily activity logs, inspection reports, and equipment records.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of lifting operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy lifting and rigging supervision.
• Knowledge of industrial lifting operations, rigging techniques, and safety procedures.
• Ability to supervise teams and manage lifting operations effectively.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and operational safety standards.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in demanding industrial environments.
