The Role

We are seeking an experienced Finacle Functional & Technical Lead / Senior Finacle Engineer to lead and support core banking operations, system enhancements, and integrations. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in Finacle Core Banking, combined with technical capabilities and leadership experience to manage L2/L3 support, implementations, upgrades, and performance optimization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team providing L2/L3 support for the Finacle Core Banking system
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions
• Conduct issue analysis, root cause identification, and implement permanent fixes
• Manage system customizations, enhancements, and patches
• Handle Finacle integrations with surrounding systems via APIs and middleware
• Support UAT, SIT, and production deployments
• Ensure system stability, performance, and compliance with banking standards

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in Finacle (Functional & Technical)
• Strong knowledge of core Finacle modules (CASA, Loans, Deposits, Payments, GL)
• Experience in product setup, parameterization, and EOD/BOD processes
• Hands-on experience in Finacle customization, APIs, scripting, and integrations
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripting, JSP, HTML
• Experience with Oracle/PostgreSQL databases
• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution skills
• Proven leadership experience with ability to manage L2/L3 support
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Banking or financial services domain experience preferred
