About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead – Java with hands-on experience in GlassFish application server to lead our development team. The ideal candidate will oversee technical design, development, and implementation of Java-based applications, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Java applications using GlassFish server.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to development teams.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, architecture best practices, and design patterns.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to application performance, deployment, and integration.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure software quality and security standards are met.
• Stay updated with industry trends and propose process improvements and technology upgrades.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong Java expertise with minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise application development.
• Hands-on experience with GlassFish (mandatory).
• Experience with J2EE, JSP, Servlets, EJB, JDBC, and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of RESTful/SOAP APIs, web services, and application integration.
• Experience in database design and SQL, preferably with Oracle or MySQL.
• Knowledge of build tools (Maven/Gradle) and version control systems (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team effectively.
