What we are looking for:

We are seeking a Strategic HR Leader with a deep-rooted background in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS). You will be the architect of our people strategy, ensuring that our talent pipeline, statutory compliance, and organizational culture are robust enough to support rapid scaling and high-precision delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• EMS Lifecycle Management: Owning the HR roadmap from high-volume operator hiring to specialized R&D engineering recruitment. 

• Industrial Relations & Compliance: Acting as the principal custodian of the Factory Act and all labor-related legalities. 

• Organizational Development: Building a culture of "High Accountability" and "Continuous Learning" within a startup environment. 

• Strategic Manpower Planning: Aligning workforce capacity with production forecasts and NPI (New Product Introduction) cycles.  

• Experience in Payroll management is required

Detailed Requirement(s) :

• Talent Acquisition Strategy: Building a robust sourcing engine for SMT Operators, Quality Engineers, and Supply Chain specialists. 

• Statutory & Customer Audits: Leading HR readiness for ISO, RBA (Responsible Business Alliance), and Tier-1 global customer audits. 

• Performance & Rewards: Designing and implementing KRA-based appraisal systems and productivity-linked incentive (PLI) schemes for the shop floor. 

• Labor Relations: Managing contract labor agencies, ensuring ethical practices, and maintaining a proactive grievance redressal mechanism. 

• Training & Development: Overseeing the "Skill Matrix" for the plant, ensuring multi skilling of operators to reduce production bottlenecks

• Budgeting & Cost Control: Managing the annual HR budget, including manpower costs, training spends, and employee welfare. 

Experience Required:

• Industry Expertise: Mandatory 8-10 years of experience in an EMS/Electronics Manufacturing environment. •

• Leadership Gravitas: The ability to influence both the boardroom and the shop floor. •

• Conflict Resolution: A calm, decisive approach to handling industrial disputes or disciplinary issues. •

• Analytical Mindset: Using HR metrics (Attrition, Absenteeism, Cost-per-hire) to drive business decisions.

Qualification:

• Education: MBA/PGDM in HR or MSW from a reputed institute.

• Experience: 8–12 years of core HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity within an EMS plant.

• Legal Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of Gujarat Labor Laws, Factory Rules, and Compliance frameworks. 

• Mandatory: EMS (Electronics) background

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of Labour Laws & Factory Compliance (Gujarat)

• Hands-on experience in Plant / Factory HR

• Expertise in Industrial Relations (IR) & handling workers

• Experience in Bulk Hiring (Operators) + Technical Hiring

• Exposure to Statutory Audits (ISO, RBA, etc.)

• Experience in Performance Management (KRA/KPI, Incentives)

• Ability to handle Contract Labour & Vendor Management

Candidate Profile:

• Must be comfortable working in a Plant/Shop-floor environment

• Should be a hands-on and practical HR leader

• Strong in conflict resolution & decision making

• Able to align HR with business & production needs

Position reports to - Head HR

Time: 8.30am to 5.30pm, can be flexible for 9am to 6pm also

Required Qualification:

Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management ,Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) ,Master of Social Work - M.S.W. or M.A. (SW)
