About Creative Software:

Founded in 1999, Creative Software is a global technology enabler and pioneer in Sri Lanka’s tech industry. We manage teams of high-performing, dedicated software engineers for our global clientele, providing them with end-to-end software development and maintenance services through team augmentation. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Quality Assurance (QA) Intern to join our QA team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about quality and eager to learn modern software testing practices in a professional and collaborative environment..

It’s ideal if your expertise is to:

• Assist in creating and executing test cases, test plans for software applications

• Collaborate with product owners and developers to understand requirements and ensure full test coverage

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing

• Identify, document, and track bugs using industry-standard tools

• Assist with test automation efforts where applicable

• Learn and apply best practices in Agile QA methodologies

• Support the team in maintaining high-quality standards in software releases

It’s ideal if you are with:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies

• Familiarity with manual testing processes; knowledge of any test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) is a plus

• Exposure to issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps) is an advantage

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile principles

• Eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset

• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
