After eight years of rapid growth, the brand has expanded to more than 360 cities worldwide, including major hubs such as New York, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok. As of 2024, it operates over 2,500 stores globally, making it the largest pickled fish restaurant chain in the world. The brand is now entering the Indonesian market and is seeking a strategic leader to drive localized growth and establish a strong presence in the country’s competitive F&B landscape.
Job Role:
The Overseas Training Director is the strategic architect of the organization’s talent ecosystem across its international markets. Based in Malaysia, you will serve as the primary link between the Headquarters in Beijing and global franchisees, ensuring that the standard of operational excellence is maintained as the organization scales.
Your role is to transform high-level corporate norms into localized, high-impact training products. You will not only manage the training lifecycle but also lead the "Wolf Warriors Training" camp, a prestigious initiative designed to identify and groom the next generation of core management personnel and backbone talents for the global network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Training Oversight: Coordinate the formulation and landing of training plans for overseas franchisees, optimizing strategies to ensure standardized and compliant operations across diverse regions.
- Talent Echelon & Assessment: Build and iterate the overseas core post-promotion assessment system. Manage the "Wolf Warriors Training" camp to train core management personnel and provide strategic suggestions for personnel selection.
- Curriculum Localization: Lead the R&D of training courses and tools, ensuring localization adaptation to create standardized training products that translate into actual work efficiency.
- Multilingual Support: Formulate training plans for overseas trainees based on local needs, coordinating multilingual support and monitoring training quality to meet HQ standards.
- Cultural Integration: Promote the company's corporate culture overseas, guiding employees to identify with the brand vision and uniting the international team.
- Team Leadership: Build and manage the overseas training team (1–10 members), setting performance goals and improving the professional and localized service level of the department.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Business Management, Psychology, or related fields
- 8–10 years of experience in Training Management, including planning, TNA, delivery, assessment, and evaluation
- Over 5 years of experience in Training & Development roles within the F&B industry, developing and monitoring programs for management, operational, and staff teams
- Familiarity with corporate training standards and end-to-end training procedures
- Strong curriculum development capabilities and professional teaching skills
- Ability to develop and write comprehensive program plans
- Proficient in office software including Excel, PPT, and Word
- Charismatic leadership style with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Innovative thinker with strong learning ability and a research-oriented mindset
- Native-level or proficient Thai for working communication
- Professional fluency in Mandarin and English for reporting to HQ and managing local operations
