One of our reputed clients in Colombo within the Construction Technology / SaaS industry is seeking a creative and driven Social Media Manager to join their growing marketing team. The role focuses on managing social media channels, creating engaging content, and supporting marketing initiatives to expand brand reach and audience engagement.

The ideal candidate should be a proactive and creative individual who is comfortable both behind and in front of the camera, with a strong interest in digital marketing and content creation.

SALARY: USD 400 per month

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across social media, email, and web channels.
• Create, schedule, and manage engaging content across platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter (X), Reddit, and help center channels.
• Develop content ideas and create/narrate content both on and off camera.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitor activities.
• Support the creation of marketing materials including blog posts, infographics, and case studies.
• Assist in maintaining and updating the company website with relevant and engaging content.
• Monitor engagement, track performance, and suggest improvements to optimize campaigns.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and campaign execution.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Good understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter/X).
• Basic knowledge of marketing principles and analytics.
• Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar is an advantage.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and creating video content.
• Highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Flexibility to follow the U.S. holiday calendar.
