Job Role:
The Finance & Accounting Manager will be responsible for setting up and maintaining financial systems that support the company’s factory operations, including accounting, budgeting, purchasing, and inventory management. This role will oversee day-to-day finance activities while also providing accurate and timely cost reports, profit and loss statements, forecasts, and annual financial reports to management.
The position requires strong leadership to train, manage, and guide a team of accountants, ensuring accurate reconciliations, stock verifications, and compliance with accounting principles and tax regulations. The Finance & Accounting Manager will also coordinate with external auditors, evaluate financial performance, and ensure efficient use of resources across departments. By providing insights into profitability, efficiency, and process improvements, this role will be key in supporting strategic decisions and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup systems for accounting, budgeting, purchasing, inventory
- Train, manage, and lead a team of accountants
- Prepare end-of-month cost reports
- Prepare quarterly PNL Statements
- Prepare Annual Financial Report
- Coordinate with independent auditors
- Prepare and manage budgets for various departments
- Prepare forecast reports
- Approve purchases and controlling expenses
- Supervise daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reconciliation and stock verification
- Evaluating profitability, efficiency, processes, and team members
Candidate Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in finance or accounting roles, with finance and team management experience.
- Technical Expertise: Good understanding on Accounting, Tax Principles, GL Function, and Accounting Software.
- Professional Qualities: Has a high sense of responsibility and detail oriented; Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills; Good communication skills.
- Language Skills: Able to communicate in English on a professional level.
