It manages the entire production chain, from egg incubation and sea-pen farming to processing and global logistics. With a focus on international expansion, the company continues to strengthen its operational team by recruiting dedicated professionals to work on-site in Uwajima.

Job Role:

This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of Japan's "Seafood Kingdom," providing a stable, results-oriented environment for those passionate about sustainable fisheries and the art of Japanese aquaculture. The position focuses on hands-on work at sea-pen farms in Uwajima, where you will be responsible for the daily care, feeding, and health monitoring of premium fish stocks. Ensuring that the fish meet the strict quality standards required for the Japanese sashimi market is a core part of the role.

As the primary Indonesian representative on-site, you will collaborate closely with a local Japanese team, requiring strong communication skills and the physical stamina to work in an outdoor, marine environment year-round. The position emphasizes both technical expertise in fish farming and the ability to adapt to a disciplined, results-driven workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily feeding schedules and nutritional intake of fish stocks using manual and automated systems
  • Conduct regular inspections to monitor fish health, growth, and behavior, reporting abnormalities
  • Perform routine maintenance of sea-cage nets, mooring systems, and aquaculture equipment
  • Assist in harvesting and primary processing of fish to ensure freshness for distribution
  • Participate in fresh and frozen fish processing operations
  • Maintain product quality standards according to Japanese SOPs
  • Assist with packaging and preparation for distribution
  • Support implementation of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Monitor water quality and help maintain ecological balance of the farming site
  • Communicate effectively with Japanese colleagues to ensure daily operations follow SOPs

Candidate Requirements:

  • High school diploma or vocational school (SMK) in Fisheries, Marine Science, or a related field
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in fisheries, aquaculture, or heavy manual labor; fresh graduates with strong passion are also welcome
  • Japanese fluency (JLPT N3 or equivalent) to follow complex technical instructions and communicate with non-English speaking Japanese staff
  • Meticulous, disciplined, and highly organized with strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work under minimal supervision and maintain a "Genba" (on-site) mindset
  • Excellent physical condition, capable of lifting heavy loads and working on boats
  • Willingness to relocate to Ehime, Japan, for a long-term career
