Role Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Laravel Developer with 5+ years of PHP experience to build and scale high-performance web applications. This role involves ownership of backend systems, API design, and architectural decisions.

Key Responsibilities

•	Develop and maintain applications using Laravel

•	Design and build REST APIs and backend services

•	Optimize performance, scalability, and database queries

•	Implement queues, caching, and background jobs

•	Review code and mentor junior developers

•	Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams

Requirements

•	5+ years experience in PHP development

•	Strong expertise in Laravel framework

•	Solid knowledge of MySQL and query optimization

•	Experience with queues (Laravel Queues), caching (Redis)

•	Familiarity with REST APIs and authentication (JWT/OAuth)

•	Experience with Git and Linux environments

Nice to Have

•	Experience with SaaS or multi-tenant systems

•	Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean)

•	Integrations with services like Xero accounting software or Twilio

•	Basic frontend knowledge (Vue.js / React)
