Job Role:
The Partner Business Development Manager plays a strategic role in expanding and nurturing a high-performing cloud partner ecosystem. This position is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing partnerships across consulting, services, solutions, and sales to support cloud business growth. By analyzing market trends, ecosystem dynamics, and partner capabilities, the manager continuously optimizes the partner network while driving co-innovation and go-to-market success. This role also oversees the full partner lifecycle—from onboarding to performance evaluation—and works closely with industry-specific partners to support solution development and market activation.
With a strong understanding of cloud services, digital operations, and industry collaboration, the Cloud Ecosystem Development Manager contributes directly to long-term cloud strategy, market penetration, and customer retention efforts. This role requires the ability to build a robust ecosystem, strengthen collaboration with strategic partners, and ensure sustainable growth and success of the cloud business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and expand cloud consulting, sales, service, and solution partnerships to support ecosystem growth, and implement strategic plans and business models for partners.
- Analyze market trends, partner capabilities, and cloud offerings to continuously optimize the partner ecosystem while fostering collaboration with key industry players to co-develop industry-specific solutions.
- Drive market expansion, sales growth, and brand recognition through a robust and future-ready cloud ecosystem.
- Manage the full lifecycle of cloud partners, including onboarding, daily operations, enablement, performance evaluation, and long-term engagement, while mapping industry and regional ecosystems to prioritize high-potential partners.
- Design and manage partner training programs, both online and offline, to enhance technical and commercial capabilities, and support the development of professional certification systems for partners.
- Assist partners in solution development and launching offerings in the cloud marketplace, leading collaborative go-to-market strategies and joint engagements to achieve business outcomes.
- Lead digital operations within the cloud service ecosystem to improve sales performance and customer engagement, strengthening customer retention and satisfaction through strategic ecosystem support and operational excellence.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, or other IT-related disciplines.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development within the cloud or ICT industry, with proven success in SaaS, PaaS, or public/private cloud solutions.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, market ecosystems, and major platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Established and active network of high-tier cloud partners, including top-tier System Integrators (SIs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and Managed Service Providers (MSPs), with the ability to engage C-level or decision-makers.
- Professional fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Solid technical expertise in cloud products, IT infrastructure, and channel management, with deep insights into key sectors such as Finance, Logistics, Government, and Gaming.
- Strong professional skills in strategic analysis, relationship management, presentation, negotiation, and project management.
