Remote Facility Manager (Night Shift – Sri Lanka)

This is an onsite office-based role in Colombo.

The term “Remote Facility Manager” refers to managing facilities remotely for overseas clients, not working from home.

We are looking for a Remote Facility Manager to coordinate service operations and manage HVAC-related activities across multiple client sites remotely.

You will act as the central command hub between customers, technicians, and vendors, ensuring smooth operations, quick response times, and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and service requests from clients
  • Schedule and track maintenance, breakdowns, and service calls
  • Monitor HVAC system performance and escalate issues
  • Coordinate with technicians, vendors, and suppliers
  • Coordinate maintenance activities including preventive and corrective HVAC services
  • Monitor service progress and ensure timely completion within SLA targets
  • Track and manage work orders, service requests, and maintenance schedules
  • Escalate critical issues and ensure quick resolution
  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and system updates

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Management, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in facilities coordination or service operations (freshers with strong communication skills may apply)
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and maintenance processes
  • Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
  • Familiarity with Outlook, Excel, GoTo, and time-tracking tools (e.g., Hubstaff) is an advantage, and coordination tools

What We’re Looking For:

  • Background in Mechanical / Electrical / Facilities Management
  • Basic HVAC knowledge
  • Strong English communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to handle pressure and urgent situations
  • Experience in service coordination or facilities is a plus

Performance Expectations:

  • Meet response time targets and service SLAs
  • Ensure timely closure of service requests
  • Provide accurate updates and reporting

Important Notes:

  • Must be comfortable working night shift (U.S. EST hours)
  • This is a fully onsite role (Colombo office)
  • Work involves remotely managing international facilities, not physical fieldwork
