One of our reputed international clients is looking for skilled Medical/Clinical Coders to accurately review, analyze, and assign medical codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services to ensure proper documentation and billing compliance within healthcare systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review patient medical records, physician notes, and clinical documentation to assign accurate medical codes.

• Apply ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes according to established medical coding standards.

• Ensure coding accuracy for insurance claims and reimbursement processes.

• Maintain confidentiality of patient health information and comply with healthcare regulations.

• Identify discrepancies or missing information in clinical documentation and seek clarification when necessary.

• Work closely with billing teams to ensure proper claim submission and minimize claim rejections.

• Maintain coding productivity and accuracy as per organizational standards.

• Stay updated with current coding guidelines, healthcare regulations, and payer requirements.

• Utilize coding software and digital tools for efficient workflow and documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Health Information Management, Life Sciences, Nursing, or related field.

• Certification in medical coding (CPC, CCS, or equivalent) will be an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.

• Experience in medical coding within healthcare or medical billing environments.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Good understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

• Ability to work with medical coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Good communication and documentation skills.
