One of our reputed international clients is looking for experienced Medical/Clinical Coder Trainers to train, mentor, and develop medical coding professionals while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices within a BPO healthcare environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver training programs for new and existing medical coders on coding standards and healthcare documentation.

• Provide instruction on ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines and updates.

• Develop and update training materials, modules, and assessment tools.

• Conduct practical coding sessions, workshops, and knowledge evaluations.

• Monitor trainee progress and provide feedback to improve coding accuracy and productivity.

• Support quality assurance teams by identifying common coding errors and implementing corrective training.

• Stay updated with industry changes in medical coding, payer guidelines, and healthcare regulations.

• Collaborate with operations and quality teams to improve coding performance across projects.

• Utilize digital learning tools, LMS platforms, and AI-based training resources where applicable.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Life Sciences, Nursing, or related field.

• Professional certification in medical coding (CPC, CCS, or equivalent) preferred.

• Proven experience in medical coding within healthcare or medical billing operations.

• Prior experience as a trainer, mentor, or team lead in a medical coding BPO environment.

• Strong knowledge of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.

• Excellent presentation, communication, and training delivery skills.

• Ability to create structured training programs and evaluate trainee performance.

• Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching abilities.
