Creative Three.js Developer

Remote | Full-Time

Voxal is a design-led digital agency working with premium wellness, aesthetics, and luxury brands across the US. We craft elevated, high-end digital experiences and we’re looking for a technically exceptional, creatively driven Three.js Specialist to join our growing remote team.

This role is for someone who sees the browser as a 3D playground. Not just websites. Not just animations. We want someone who builds immersive, spatial experiences that feel alive.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building advanced 3D web experiences using Three.js and WebGL
• Creating immersive, scroll-driven narratives with 3D scenes and camera interactions
• Developing interactive environments, shaders, and real-time visuals
• Integrating Three.js with React (react-three-fiber preferred)
• Working with lighting, materials, textures, and performance optimization
• Translating high-end Figma concepts into fully interactive 3D executions
• Collaborating with designers to bring cinematic digital experiences to life
• Optimizing for performance across devices without compromising visual quality
• Contributing to ongoing innovation across live projects

What We’re Looking For

• Strong, proven experience with Three.js (non-negotiable)
• Deep understanding of WebGL, shaders, lighting, and 3D rendering pipelines
• Experience with react-three-fiber (R3F) and modern Three.js workflows
• Ability to build complex, scroll-based 3D interactions
• Strong grasp of performance optimization for real-time graphics
• Experience working with GSAP / ScrollTrigger in 3D contexts
• Solid fundamentals in JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• A strong eye for design, composition, and motion
• Ability to translate design into pixel-perfect, interaction-rich builds
• Clear communication and ability to work independently in a remote setup
• High attention to detail and clean, structured code practices

Bonus (Nice to Have)

• Experience with GLSL shaders and custom effects
• Familiarity with Blender / 3D asset pipelines
• Experience integrating Three.js into Webflow or hybrid builds
