One of our prestigious clients is looking for experienced "Technical Support Officers" to join their team remotely.

SALARY: EURO 200 - 350 (Avg. Rs. 65,000 - 120,000)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensuring registration and classification of incidents and undertake immediate action to resolve and restore the failed service in a fast and effective way.
  • Understand the need to escalate the issues to Senior Technical Support only as last resort.
  • Processes Service Requests and update users on their status at agreed intervals.
  • Ensuring constant follow up with customers, provide feedback and anticipate issues that might arise.
  • Active participation in calls to on board new client.
  • Run tests on new and existing applications for the purposes of fixing errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
  • Test the client's solutions and products in multiple browsers/ operating systems/ Learning Management Systems.
  • Monitor, update and maintain existing applications.
  • Develop, maintain and upgrade user manuals and guidelines on a regular basis.
  • Recommend procedure modifications or improvements.
  • Preserve and grow your knowledge of procedures, products and services.
  • Ability to work on instructions from Team Leader and other associate colleagues.
  • Perform other cognate duties as assigned by supervisor.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:

  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
  • Good analytical/ functional skills.
  • Knowledge in one or more Programming Languages: Mysql, Javascript, HTML, PHP.
  • Knowledge of SCORM standards would be an advantage.
  • Must be flexible, self-motivated and an excellent team-player.
  • Ability to work in a tight deadline environment, possess strong organisational skills in respecting project planning and avoiding delays.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technical skills and new technologies.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION/ CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma or Degree Holder in IT related field.
  • Proven working experience in Technical Support, Application Analyst, or Service Desk.
  • Good skills with MS Office tools.
  • English language spoken/ written is mandatory.
