Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available DevOps infrastructure for banking and financial systems.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications (e.g., digital banking, payment systems), ensuring secure, automated, and reliable deployments.
• Automate and streamline operations and processes to enhance efficiency and reliability across the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize and improve system performance, security, and availability.
• Lead the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of applications.
• Ensure systems meet bank-grade NFRs such as high availability (99.9%+), fault tolerance, low latency, and resilience.
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure system stability and performance.
• Drive release management strategies, including blue-green deployments, canary releases, and zero-downtime deployments.
• Implement and enforce infrastructure and network security best practices, including secure configurations, secrets management, and access controls.
• Contribute to disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP), ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies, integrating them into the DevOps ecosystem where applicable.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, preferably within banking, fintech, or BFSI environments.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their well-architected frameworks.
• Strong hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Travis CI, Azure DevOps), including secure pipeline design.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system improvements and optimizations.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization tools and strategies.
• Experience with popular monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Sentry or similar tools.
• Proficiency in securely deploying applications with a strong emphasis on network and infrastructure security is a strong plus.
• Understanding of SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) principles and practices is a strong plus.
• Experience developing and testing disaster recovery plans, and knowledge of incident management is a strong plus.
• Candidates with Fintec/BFS experience will be given priority.
