Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Create and execute automated test scripts to ensure high-quality releases across multiple environments.
• Lead performance testing efforts, including load, stress, scalability, and endurance testing.
• Analyze performance test results and identify bottlenecks, memory leaks, and system limitations.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
• Define and implement QA strategies, standards, and best practices for automation and performance testing.
• Perform root cause analysis for defects and ensure proper documentation and tracking.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and drive test automation adoption across teams.
• Work with monitoring tools to validate system performance in production-like environments.
• Ensure test coverage across functional, regression, and non-functional requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in QA, with strong focus on automation and performance testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
• Strong experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, k6).
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar).
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, or similar).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Candidates with Fintec/BFS experience will be given priority.
