Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Execute automated and manual test cases to ensure product quality and stability.
• Plan and conduct performance testing, including load, stress, and scalability testing.
• Analyze performance metrics and identify system bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and DevOps to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and faster releases.
• Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.
• Maintain and enhance test frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Participate in requirement analysis and test planning to ensure clear understanding of acceptance criteria.
• Contribute to QA best practices, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in QA with a focus on automation and performance testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, or k6).
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar).
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, or similar).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Candidates with Fintec/BFS experience will be given priority.

Note: Employees will be transitioned to the client company upon completing three years at Surge
