Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Reconciliation & Analyst to ensure accurate financial records through systematic reconciliations and data analysis. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in computer systems, data accuracy, and process improvement, with the ability to work comfortably with accounting software and spreadsheets.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations (bank, cash, sales, receivables, payables).
Analyse variances and investigate discrepancies across financial records.
Validate data accuracy between accounting systems, spreadsheets, and supporting documents.
Prepare reconciliation statements, summaries, and analysis reports.
Maintain clean and audit-ready reconciliation files.
Work closely with accounts, operations, and sales teams to resolve mismatches.
Assist in improving reconciliation processes through automation, templates, or system improvements.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Skills & Requirements
Good understanding of accounting fundamentals and reconciliation principles.
Strong computer literacy with high proficiency in Excel (lookups, pivot tables, formulas).
Ability to work with accounting or ERP systems (QuickBooks, MYOB, or similar is an advantage).
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable handling large volumes of data with accuracy.
Interest in systems, data workflows, and process optimisation.
Ability to document processes clearly and follow structured workflows.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or certification in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1–3 years experience in accounts, reconciliation, or finance operations preferred.
Candidates with a strong systems/IT interest alongside accounting knowledge are encouraged to apply.
