One of our reputed international clients in the Power / Engineering industry is seeking skilled Generator Technicians (Electrical) for overseas employment in Qatar. The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning of diesel generator systems while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

The ideal candidate should be a technically strong professional with hands-on experience in generator systems, control panels, and electrical diagnostics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in diesel generators.
• Work with generator systems such as Cummins, Volvo, and Caterpillar.
• Program and configure controllers including Deep Sea Controllers (8610), Comap, and EMCP.
• Perform wiring, rewiring, and control panel modifications.
• Handle alternator troubleshooting and AVR-related issues.
• Upload and modify flash files and perform controller configurations.
• Conduct testing, commissioning, synchronization, and load sharing.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a Generator Technician (Electrical).
• Strong knowledge of diesel generator systems and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with controller programming and configuration.
• Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams.
• Hands-on experience in commissioning and load management systems.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
