Job Role:
The Supply Chain Manager is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the end-to-end supply chain lifecycle, including planning, inventory management, and logistics. This position is designed for a "player-coach", a leader who can drive strategic alignment with regional stakeholders while remaining deeply immersed in operational execution. You will move beyond passive oversight to personally drive efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and ensure the seamless flow of materials in a fast-paced multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Operations: Oversee planning, materials management, and distribution to ensure on-time delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Regional Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for regional supply chain leaders, ensuring local operations align with global strategic goals.
- "Hands-on" Execution: Directly supervise site employees, monitoring workflow and personally troubleshooting operational issues as they arise.
- Process Optimization: Lead site-wide continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing (ELS) and Six Sigma to improve inventory turnover and reduce waste.
- Inventory & Planning Excellence: Partner with production and quality teams to optimize workflow, manage resource allocation, and reduce logistics bottlenecks.
- People Development: Build and retain a high-performing team by fostering a culture of accountability and providing coaching through the Global Performance Management System.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 7–10 years of supply chain/logistics experience in manufacturing (labels, packaging, apparel preferred)
- 3–5 years in leadership within a multinational company, with experience reporting to regional/global stakeholders
- Hands-on, “doer” mindset with ability to execute alongside the team
- Familiarity with apparel, footwear, labels, packaging, adhesives, or intelligent labeling/RFID industries
- Professional business-level English
- Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, ELS Operating Principles, WMS/ERP systems, and continuous improvement frameworks
- Proven ability to connect operational performance to financial outcomes
- Strong people management, coaching, and team development skills, with proactive problem-solving and decisive action
