Job Role:

As the Strategic Manager for Air Freight at the Head Office, you are responsible for leading the commercial direction of the air cargo division. You will design comprehensive sales frameworks that capitalize on market opportunities in the Bekasi/Cibitung region while maintaining strong relationships with key international corporate accounts.

This role combines senior-level business development with strategic division management, requiring you to mentor sales staff while personally leading major tender acquisitions. You will ensure that the Air Freight division remains agile by leveraging market data and sales trends to anticipate fluctuations in the global logistics market. Products and solutions include air freight services, sea freight and ocean specializations, digital visibility and tracking tools, specialized handling for healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and dangerous goods, as well as one-stop logistics and supply chain consulting services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a multi-year sales roadmap to increase market share in the Air Freight segment within the Bekasi/Cibitung industrial corridor.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis into market trends, sales data, and business opportunities to proactively adjust commercial tactics.
  • Lead high-level professional presentations and commercial negotiations for major corporate tenders and C-level stakeholders.
  • Act as the final point of escalation for emerging issues and handle complex customer complaints to ensure complete service satisfaction.
  • Provide strategic direction to the sales team, ensuring all pricing simulations and solution designs meet company standards.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience as a sales leader or Sales Operations Manager in Air Freight, including at least 5 years in strategic or managerial roles, with a proven track record handling international clients in the freight forwarding/3PL industry.
  • Advanced ability to analyze market trends, identify high-yield business opportunities, and design effective commercial strategies.
  • Expertise in air freight operations, global trade lanes, tender management, and complex pricing simulations.
  • Fluent in English for business communication, including presentations, negotiations, and client relationship management.
  • Goal-oriented, persuasive, proactive, independent, with strong relationship management and presentation skills.
