Job Role:
The Section Leader is a mid-management "player-coach" role responsible for bridging the gap between senior management and the operational sales team. You will ensure that the W&D sales section operates as a structured, target-driven unit while personally managing a high-level portfolio of 3PL and contract logistics deals.
In this role, you are expected to foster a team-oriented environment that encourages collaboration and continuous professional development. Your focus will be on maintaining high-quality customer relationships and ensuring that the team’s outbound sales efforts are data-driven, legally compliant, and aligned with global logistics standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Target Management: Lead the section to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets through rigorous planning and performance monitoring.
- Sales Framework Design: Architect comprehensive sales plans, sales reports, and reporting structures that provide full visibility into the W&D sales pipeline.
- Independent & Team Leadership: Balance individual sales contributions with the leadership of a team-oriented environment, fostering a culture of accountability.
- Client Fieldwork: Personally visit high-priority customer offices and project sites to finalize major W&D and 3PL contracts.
- Verification & Accountability: Monitor and verify the achievement records of team members, providing coaching and feedback to ensure overall section success.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B Sales for 3PL within the Warehouse & Distribution (W&D) segment, with proven track record in Freight Forwarding or Logistics, specifically air/sea cargo and W&D
- Experience in a supervisory or Section Leader role, managing and coaching a sales team to achieve KPIs
- Expertise in 3PL operations, W&D solutions, sales planning, reporting structures, and achievement tracking
- Ability to analyze customer project sites, gather technical requirements, and design integrated logistics solutions
- Fluent in English for business communication, client meetings, and negotiations
- Goal-oriented, persuasive, proactive, independent, with strong relationship management and presentation skills
