Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about automation, systems reliability, cloud operations, and enabling high- performing engineering teams. While we welcome applicants globally, we are particularly interested in strong talent from Sri Lanka and the wider region.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS
• Maintain and optimize containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for faster and safer deployments
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Monitor systems, manage alerts, and respond to production incident promptly
• Ensure platform security, backup, disaster recovery, and access controls
• Improve system performance, scalability, and uptime across environments
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to support product delivery

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in AWS infrastructure management
• Experience with Linux administration, networking, and system troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation tools
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, Datadog, etc.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Strong understanding of security best practices and access management
• Ability to support critical systems during US business hours / night shifts when required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting global production environments
• Exposure to high-availability and large-scale distributed systems
• Certifications in AWS or Kubernetes are an advantage
• Prior experience working with international remote teams
