Senior Program Manager (12-Month Contract)

We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Senior Program Manager to lead and oversee large-scale IT digitalization and transformation programs. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities, extensive program management experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders across the full SDLC lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program lifecycle management, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards
• Oversee and manage multiple projects while ensuring alignment with overall program objectives
• Develop and govern program-level plans, schedules, proposals, and cost/effort forecasts
• Manage project interdependencies to ensure smooth execution and minimized risks
• Drive delivery governance using Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, and CMMI best practices
• Monitor and improve delivery KPIs while ensuring adherence to governance standards
• Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalation handling across programs
• Engage stakeholders effectively to support strategic decision-making and successful program outcomes
• Ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization across projects and teams
• Own end-to-end delivery management across the full SDLC lifecycle
• Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives, audits, and lessons learned
• Mentor and guide Project Managers to ensure consistent delivery and capability development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field
• Minimum 12+ years of overall experience with at least 4 years in Program Management across the full SDLC lifecycle
• Proven experience managing IT digitalization and transformation initiatives is highly preferred
• PMP, CSM, ACP, or SAFe certifications will be an added advantage
• Strong leadership and people management skills with experience managing multiple Project Managers
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
• Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and margin management
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence, Jira Timeline, and Roadmap tools
