The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of HR to lead and manage all HR operations in Sri Lanka, working closely with the Director and wider leadership team in the UK.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving HR strategy, operational excellence, and recruitment across the Sri Lanka organisation, supporting a fast-growing software engineering and delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all HR operations across Sri Lanka
• Own end-to-end recruitment for internal roles (engineering, product, delivery, and corporate functions)
• Partner closely with UK leadership team on organisational planning and talent strategy
• Manage employee relations, performance processes, and HR governance
• Drive talent acquisition strategy in a competitive software/technology market
• Support scaling of teams across engineering, product, and delivery functions
• Ensure HR policies, processes, and compliance are maintained and improved
• Build a strong employer brand within the Sri Lanka tech market

What We’re Looking For:

• Senior HR professional with 10+ years’ experience
• Strong background working within software, technology, or product-led organisations
• Proven experience managing HR operations and recruitment at scale
• Experience partnering with international leadership teams (UK/Europe preferred)
• Strong understanding of technical hiring (software engineering, product, delivery)
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Associate Director / Senior HR Business Partner level experience
• Hands-on, operationally strong, and delivery-focused
• Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and time zones
• Strong communicator with leadership presence
• Experience scaling teams in technology-driven environments
