At Zyner, we’re looking for a Mid-Funnel Growth & Partnerships Intern to manage warm leads, keep our CRM clean, follow up with prospects, and help move interested founders and startups toward calls, subscriptions, partnerships, or clear final outcomes.
This role sits between growth, sales, partnerships, and operations. You’ll be responsible for ensuring no interested lead is missed, forgotten, or left without a next step.

Your Role
This is not a passive admin internship.
You’ll work on the middle of the funnel, the stage where leads have already shown interest but still need consistent follow-ups, context, reminders, and movement toward a clear decision.
You’ll work closely with the founder and growth team on CRM operations, lead follow-ups, call coordination, post-call follow-ups, and partnership outreach.
What You’ll Do
CRM Management
- Keep Folk CRM and lead tracking sheets clean, accurate, and up to date
- Monitor warm leads across campaign platforms, LinkedIn, calls, referrals, Cal.com bookings, and other inbound sources
- Make sure every interested lead is added to the CRM with the correct status
- Add clear notes after interactions and set reminders for next steps
- Maintain accurate contact details, follow-up timelines, and communication history
Lead Follow-Up & Nurturing
- Follow up with warm leads in a timely and structured way
- Use email, LinkedIn, calls, and other relevant channels to continue conversations
- Move interested leads toward the next action, usually booking an intro call or making a clear decision
- Keep the loop going until there is a clear yes, no, or scheduled next step
- Write short, direct, context-aware follow-up messages
- Track which leads need attention daily
Call & Post-Call Coordination
- Help book intro calls with interested leads
- Track booked calls, attended calls, and no-shows
- Follow up with no-shows and help reschedule when needed
- Follow up with leads after intro calls
- Clarify questions, objections, or hesitations
- Nudge leads toward a subscription or clear next step
- Make sure every post-call opportunity ends with a clear outcome
Partnership Outreach
- Use tools like Crunchbase and LinkedIn to identify partnership opportunities
- Reach out to funds to explore Zyner becoming a portfolio perk for their startups
- Identify websites, newsletters, communities, and people in the startup/design space that Zyner can partner with
- Track partnership conversations in the CRM
- Follow up with partnership leads consistently
Process & Documentation
- Help improve the mid-funnel follow-up system
- Create and maintain follow-up sequences, templates, and CRM workflows
- Suggest improvements to increase conversion from interested lead → booked call → subscription
- Document processes clearly for future handovers and training

- Can work with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and structured systems
- Are comfortable using tools like Folk CRM, Crunchbase, Google Sheets, LinkedIn, Slack, ClickUp, Gmail, Apollo, and Salesforge
- Can work independently and update the team clearly
- Have an interest in startups, sales, growth, partnerships, or business development
- Enjoy working in a fast-moving startup environment
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in sales, growth, business development, partnerships, lead generation, or CRM management
- Experience with cold email platforms like Instantly or Salesforge
- Experience using LinkedIn for outreach
- Experience working with founders, startups, agencies, or SaaS companies
- Basic understanding of startup funding, VC funds, accelerators, and founder communities
